Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, practising in North London. I trained in CBT at Oxford University. Previously, I was a Registered General Nurse.

Most of the time, people can cope with emotional and mental health problems themselves, with the support of family and friends. Sometimes, though, it can help to see a therapist, in a safe and confidential environment.

I help people overcome a range of problems, including anxiety disorders, depression, panic, OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder), phobias, low self-esteem, bereavement, and eating disorders. Through conversation, we gain an understanding of the problems, how they have developed and what is maintaining them. By identifying unhelpful thoughts and finding alternative thinking habits, CBT provides a way of helping people feel better and cope with their difficulties.

Please do get in touch to arrange a confidential assessment if you feel I can be of help.
